Phase I Environmental Site Assessments
Phase I Environmental Site Assessments are conducted in accordance with applicable ASTM standards and federal All Appropriate Inquiries requirements when those standards are required by the project.
A Phase I ESA typically includes:
- Historical property research
- Review of environmental databases
- Regulatory records review
- Site reconnaissance
- Evaluation of current and historical property uses
- Interviews and other applicable research
- Identification and evaluation of recognized environmental conditions
- Preparation of a professional written report
Phase II Environmental Site Assessments
When additional investigation is warranted, ACT can develop and conduct Phase II investigations involving:
- Soil sampling
- Groundwater sampling
- Soil-vapor evaluation
